It’s not quite as easy as hopping on a crosstown bus, but travelers can now hop on an hourly Paris shuttle flight from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
A collaboration between Air France and Delta Air Lines, the new Paris shuttle flights will operate hourly and seven days a week between JFK and two Parisian airports: Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Orly Airport (ORY).
A total of nine daily Paris shuttle flights will operate on the hour in late afternoon out of JFK. New York bound flights from Paris will depart every one or two hours.
Air France will operate six daily flights New York-JFK to Paris-CDG, and one daily flight between JFK and Paris-ORY.
Air France will operate flights with Boeing 777-300s and Airbus A350s.
Delta will operate two daily flights JFK to Paris-CDG with Airbus A330s.
All nine flights at least three classes of service, including business class with lie-flat beds, premium economy, and economy. Three of the daily Air France flights will also offer La Premiere first-class service.
Air France adds flights for summer travel
Air France said it will increase summer flights by 20 percent in the U.S. compared to what was offered in summer 2019, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The French airlines will fly from 14 U.S. gateways, including recently restored service to Dallas Fort Worth and Denver.
Delta already is the busiest transatlantic airline from New York-JFK, operating up to 27 daily flights to 20 European destinations this summer. The schedule includes restarts on Delta’s service to Zurich, Brussels, Edinburgh, Copenhagen and Prague.
