Christmas Markets shouldn’t be the only ones your guests are vying to check out. During the Easter season, suggest guests head to the Easter markets in Innsbruck, Hall and Kufstein. As guests browse the stalls with Easter decorations, traditional foods, and musical performances, they’ll be sure to get in to the spring and Easter season.

4. Summer Solstice Celebrations

The Nordkette Mountain, where travelers can take in the best bonfires lit on the mountain tops during the summer solstice.

For those visiting during the summer season, coordinate your clients’ travels with the summer solstice on June 21. During this time, guests will get to take in the bonfires lit on mountaintops all over Tirol. The most spectacular is said to be the solstice celebration in Innsbruck on the Nordkette Mountain.

3. Cattle Drive Celebrations

A local tradition that might be of interest to clients are the cattle drives that take place from early September to mid-October. During  this time, more than 40 cattle drives take place around Tirol. The festive “homecoming of the cows” is a very special celebration for locals as brass bands perform and locals dress in their finest Lederhosen and Dirndls. Suggest St. Anton am Arlberg as well as the sheep drive in Soelden to clients traveling in the fall.

2. The Swarovski Crystals World

A visit to Tirol can’t be complete without a trip to the Swarovski Crystals World, home of the crystal and fashion brand Wattens. The Crystal Worlds, which originally opened in 1995 to mark the 100th anniversary of Swarovski, reopened on April 30, 2015 after a major expansion.

All over the world, in about 100 countries, bells from Grassmayr Bell Foundry can be heard, as the family has been casting bells for 14 generations.
