The Islands of Tahiti, which fully reopened to tourism in July 2020, has launched the Tahiti Specialist Program for travel advisors.
The online program was launched by Tahiti Tourisme United States at its virtual Tahiti Specialist Conference, a three-day program consisting of educational sessions, a tradeshow, product training sessions, small group sessions, and 1:1 meetings.
The Tahiti Specialist Program will support travel advisors by providing incentive-based opportunities to start booking travel to The Islands of Tahiti in the coming months. It invites members of the industry to participate in a rewards-style program that incentivizes agents to not just sell the destination, but to immerse themselves in it.
“This innovative new platform will ensure our advisors receive the best possible resources and are able to achieve higher levels of engagement with the destination on behalf of their clients,” says Kristin Carlson, managing director, Tahiti Tourisme United States. “In this challenging time for our industry, this program will cultivate elite advisors that have every possible advantage in selling the destination to clients who are looking for a safe, remote, and unforgettable travel experience.”
In addition to ongoing destination training and booking support, as advisors progress through the various levels of the program, they will be rewarded with opportunities that include luxury and small group FAMs.
