Coming to New Orleans in the summer also means seasonal menus at restaurants, especially in June during Restaurant Week and the entire month of August, where many world-renowned New Orleans restaurants will take part in the 20th anniversary of COOLinary, which is an annual tradition featuring specially priced prix-fixe lunch, dinner, and brunch menus.
With legendary dishes like jambalaya, gumbo, etouffee, bananas Foster and beignets, it’s no wonder New Orleans is consistently ranked among the nation’s best culinary destinations.
