NYLO New York City
NYLO New York City.

New York City’s Upper West Side will get a new addition this summer with NYLO Hotels’ fifth property, NYLO New York City, replacing the current On The Avenue Hotel. The 285-room property will stay open during renovations and officially launch as a NYLO property this summer. Rooms will be outfitted in grays, blues and other neutral colors with some offering balconies with views of the city skyline, Central Park and the Hudson River. In addition, the hotel will showcase hundreds of original artwork from local artists and feature updated guestrooms and suites, as well as a new lobby and bar.

“This is NYLO’s second conversion property, and our first in New York City,” says Michael Mueller, CEO of NYLO Hotels. “This property is a diamond in the rough: it has historic charm and unique character that reflect its surroundings, larger-than-average guestrooms, plenty of natural light and outdoor space, great restaurant venues and the opportunity to add a destination lobby bar.”

The hotel’s design combined the brand’s aesthetic of an “urban, industrial style” with touches of New York City. NYLO will also feature three restaurants: Serafina Upper West Side, Geisha Table and Red Farm.

Rates start at $169 per night in low season and $249 per night in high season. For more information, visit nylohotels.com.
