Widely recognized as one of the leading medical wellness facilities in the Asia-Pacific region, The Farm at San Benito is an intimate luxury resort located a 90-minute drive south of Manila, Philippines. Resting on over 100 acres of lush jungle and offering an inspiring view of Mount Malarayat, the multi-award-winning The Farm is a member of the CG Hospitality brand and a partner of Living Life Well Integrative Medical Clinic, a CIGNA-accredited global healthcare provider.

Holistic, medically supervised health programming is the primary focus

According to Jennifer Sanvictores, Global Head of Sales, Marketing & Communications, “guests visit for a large number of reasons—from well-being and rejuvenation to deeper health issues.” The Farm’s medically-supervised health programs address some of today’s most prevalent lifestyle illnesses, including diabetes, obesity, hypertension, chronic pain and hormonal imbalance, as well as anxiety, stress and depression issues. Sanvictores points out that programs are carefully planned and conducted by internationally-trained medicine doctors specializing in various disciplines, including Preventive Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, Functional Medicine, Naturopathic Medicine and Holistic Medicine. The team of doctors is supported by licensed health and wellness professionals, including nurses, spa therapists, nutritionists, living food chefs, fitness coaches and yoga teachers.

Programs are focused on five pillars: Diagnose, Cleanse, Nourish, Repair and Sustain. The aim says Sanvictores, “is to help the guests’ bodies return to their ideal balanced state and achieve holistic optimum wellness using five key healing components: holistic integrative medical services; nurturing spa and hydrotherapy water wellness; plant-based, wholefood, wellness cuisine; mindful movement and functional fitness; and healing environment and exceptional heartfelt service and genuine care provided by Filipinos.”

The Farm offers a robust weekly schedule of activities

Guests have access to a robust and varied selection of activities and special offerings included with the starting room rate of $200 U.S. (plus taxes) per night. These activities and special offerings include a one-on-one Holistic Health Assessment with an on-staff medical doctor, a Body Composition Analysis to assess a guest’s overall nutritional condition to allow a nutritionist to provide guidance on how to sustainably achieve one’s health and nutritional goals and a one-on-one Fitness Assessment with a certified fitness professional.

Sample activities, sessions and classes include daily fitness, yoga, meditation, sound healing therapy, food preparation and daily (weather permitting) guided Power Walks in and around The Farm. Private sessions are also available for guests traveling with children (ages 4 – 12). A special Kids Activities program includes activities such as Duck & Goose Feeding, Kite Flying, Organic Farm Tour and Mandala Flower Art.

Programs can be customized and personalized

Prior to check-in, each guest is emailed a General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) to be filled out and submitted to The Farm’s Holistic Medical Sanctuary team for review and recommendation of the most suitable program(s) to address each guest’s personal needs and goals. The Farm’s team of health professionals is also available to create a personalized program that combines specific medical services and holistic treatments based on each guest’s state of health.

Sanvictores adds, that “our guest relations team will assist guests during their stay, and whatever their ultimate intention may be, our dedicated team of licensed medical professionals can create personalized healing programs that prioritize well-being.”

Guests might also achieve a wide range of goals/intentions with specific programs offered at The Farm. Those specific goal-oriented and science-based programs—ranging from four to 21-night stays—include a Holistic Detox Cleanse, Weight Management, Diabetes Prevention, Heart Health, Holistic Cancer Care, Sleep Recovery, Pain Management, Mental Health, Smoking Cessation, and others. There are also scheduled themed retreats held throughout the year.

During free time, guests are encouraged to visit The Farm’s 300-year-old Mango Tree, home to their muster of peacocks. Sanvictores says, “It’s one of the many areas at The Farm where two energy lines criss-crossing our planet meet—creating an energy vortex.” This is also the spot where The Farm team gathers with guests during full moon celebrations.

In addition to wellness enthusiasts, health and fitness-conscious individuals, and guests seeking a retreat from the stresses of modern life, The Farm, with its 60 suites and villas, also caters to solo travelers, couples, families, retreat groups, weddings, corporate events and other group functions.

On a final note, Sanvictores says, “Embodying the Filipino brand of hospitality and service, the people are indeed what make The Farm at San Benito memorable, From the dedicated staff to the skilled medical professionals and the healing experts you meet along the way, it’s the people who create a welcoming and transformative experience at The Farm.”
