In a strategic move, Holland America Line and Seabourn announced the consolidation of their sales teams for North America and Australia. The two Carnival Corporation divisions made this decision to enhance trade partner support and streamline operations.
Rob Coleman has been appointed senior vice president of North America and Australia sales for the unified sales team. Coleman, who will continue to report to Beth Bodensteiner, Holland America Line’s chief commercial officer, brings 25 years of experience to this role.
“Over the past 25 years, Rob has been an invaluable asset to Holland America Line’s sales team,” said Gus Antorcha, president of Holland America Line, in a press statement. “With his expertise he is poised to lead Holland America Line and Seabourn in an exciting opportunity to further build and expand trade alliances.”
“Combining the two sales teams enables us to leverage and integrate industry-leading reporting, analytics and commercial trade programs for both brands,” added Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn, in the press statement.
Coleman’s career with Holland America Line began in 1999 as an inside sales representative. He has since progressed through various roles, most recently serving as vice president of North American sales.
Additional Changes to Seabourn & HAL
The restructuring also includes the promotion of Tara Schreiner to vice president of national and strategic partnerships for both brands. Steve Smotrys, Seabourn’s Vice President of sales and trade relations, will depart the company in September.
“Steve’s leadership has been invaluable in his roles at Cunard, Princess and Seabourn over the years and we wish him the best,” said Leahy in the statement.
