Turkish Airlines has announced its newest venture to enhance passenger comfort and promote Türkiye’s cultural heritage. The new UNESCO Türkiye Series amenity kit collection, now available on select flights, showcases the country’s UNESCO World Heritage sites and traditional art forms.

“With the UNESCO Türkiye Series, not only we are providing our guests with a memorable flight experience but we are also showcasing Türkiye’s rich cultural heritage to the world. As Turkish Airlines, we continue to maintain our lead in the global aviation sector with our sustainability-focused approach and our vision of preserving cultural values. This collection is a tangible expression of our efforts to present Anatolia’s millennia-old history and art to our passengers in a contemporary way. We hope our guests will form a unique bond with Türkiye’s deep-rooted past through these sets,” said M. Akif Konar, Turkish Airlines Chief Operations Officer, in a press statement.

Turkish Airlines Elevates the In-Flight Experience

Turkish AirlinesThe collection features designs inspired by six UNESCO World Heritage sites in Türkiye: Nemrut, Göbeklitepe, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Ani and Troy. Additionally, it incorporates four ebru (Turkish marbling) designs and three traditional carpet-rug motifs. Business Class passengers on flights lasting 5 to 8 hours are now enjoying these kits, while Economy Class travelers on flights over 8 hours have access to different versions.

Developed in partnership with the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO, this collection aligns with Turkish Airlines’ commitment to passenger comfort and cultural promotion. Each kit is a unique travel memento, blending Anatolian history and artistic heritage with modern design elements.

The amenity kits contain hand and body lotion and lip balm from the luxury fragrance brand Ex Nihilo. In a nod to sustainability, approximately 80 percent of the materials used in items like socks, eye masks and toothbrushes are made from recycled or eco-friendly materials, including biodegradable cornstarch.
