Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts says ‘Aye Aye, Captain!’ and is celebrating SpongeBob SquarePants’ 25th anniversary with events throughout July as part of the Summer of SpongeBob program. Both resorts in Mexico and the Dominican Republic feature new SpongeBob beach-themed overlays and a 25th-anniversary sandcastle display by local artists. And there’s more: your clients can enjoy “watch parties” of classic SpongeBob episodes with themed snacks and purchase 25th-anniversary merchandise.
SpongeBob in the Spotlight
At Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Team Nick will host a surprise party for SpongeBob with characters like Patrick and Squidward. Festivities include games, a giant cake, piñatas, party favors, live music, and character photo ops. A live DJ will also be at the Gourmet Village and Splash Mobs.
In Riviera Maya, Mexico, guests can join SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and Sandy at the Golden Pineapple in the Main Lobby for dancing and a raffle. Kids can enjoy a special SpongeBob-themed drink.
SpongeBob and Patrick will host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024 live from Bikini Bottom on July 13, featuring enhanced graphics and augmented reality. Guests can save up to 45 percent on bookings made through Aug. 31, 2024, for travel between May 24 and Sept. 3, 2024.
