JetBlue is making major moves at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), unveiling a slate of network enhancements that reinforce its stronghold in South Florida. The expansion includes new domestic routes, increased flight frequencies on existing favorites and more access to JetBlue’s premium Mint experience.
Services Added from FLL
The airline will launch year-round, nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta, Austin, Norfolk and Tampa. In response to rising demand, the airline is also adding daily frequencies on several high-demand routes from FLL, including: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Raleigh-Durham and Richmond.
“Fort Lauderdale has long been a key market for JetBlue, and we’re excited to keep growing with the region,” said Dave Jehn, President, Network Planning and Airline Partnerships. “With new routes, more flights and the expansion of our award-winning Mint experience on more trips and the best crewmembers in the business, we’re continuing to offer more reasons for South Florida travelers to choose JetBlue.”
The airline is also expanding its Mint program, the airline’s award-winning business class product. This winter, JetBlue will offer 13 daily Mint departures from Fort Lauderdale, with every flight to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix and San Francisco offering the experience.
Mint features include:
- Fully lie-flat seating
- Private suites with sliding doors (on select aircraft)
- Upscale dining menus
- Curated wellness amenities and entertainment
Fort Lauderdale was JetBlue’s very first destination 25 years ago, and its footprint has only grown. FLL is also a key launching point for JetBlue’s flights to Latin America and the Caribbean.
