Explora Journeys has prepared a new series of cruises to celebrate the inaugural summer 2024 season of the luxurious new Explora II for clients seeking adventure and they’re now open for booking. Of note: the Explora II is on the cutting edge of environmental-supporting technologies, which will appeal to those on your list that seek to explore the world while leaving the smallest footprint possible.
In keeping with Explora Journeys’ usual commitment to creating unique experiences, the new itineraries will take your clients to both popular and off-the-beaten-path stops in the Mediterranean, the Middle East, India, the Indian Ocean and Africa—this is also the first time the brand will visit these regions.
Your clients will have 25 journeys and 14 extended journeys to choose from, with departures scheduled from August 2024 through the end of April 2025, visiting 82 unique ports in 26 countries. These will be luxury immersion experiences that include exclusive activities and sustainable experiences tailored to guests of the Explora II.

Explora II Will Travel the World
Explora II will begin its long journey in the Mediterranean with stops in Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Israel and Croatia. There, travelers will visit Rome, Sicily and Menorca before heading to the Eastern Mediterranean and the Greek islands.
The ship will then head to Israel, later passing through the Suez Canal to take your clients on a visit to Egypt. Then it will sail to the Arabian Peninsula to Saudi Arabia, hugging the coastline of the Red Sea with stops at Al Ula and Hegra, followed by a sali to the Arabian Gulf and visits to Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Explora II will then had to the coast of India, where your clients will find themselves exploring the Western Ghats, the beaches of Goa and then onto the city of Mumbai. The adventure will continue to the islands of the Indian Ocean, including the Seychelles and Maldives, then Africa, where Explora Journeys will not only indulge them in eco-tented safaris on the savannah but also visits to white-sand beaches, stops at local crafts markets and tribal immersions.
