Windstar Cruises is launching a new collection of 3- to 5-night European yacht voyages called Quick Getaways beginning in spring 2026. Breaking from its traditional longer itineraries, these shorter itineraries will deliver experiences that combine iconic cities with smaller ports rarely included in a single sailing.

“These new sailings are designed for spontaneity and simplicity,” said Windstar Cruises director of itinerary planning Jess Peterson in a press statement. “They’re the perfect way to experience the Windstar style of travel—especially if you’re already traveling for work or play in Europe. With overnight flights from the East Coast, you can be sailing beneath the Tower Bridge or sipping wine in Southern France with minimal jet lag and no time wasted.”

These brief voyages are designed for clients with limited time who still want the full small-ship experience. Guests can fly overnight from the East Coast and board the same day in Europe.

The new collection features nine departure dates across five different itineraries. The compact nature of Windstar’s vessels allows access to locations larger ships cannot reach, such as sailing directly under London’s Tower Bridge or visiting the small wine-producing town of Collioure.

The 3-night A Taste of Southern France itinerary offers opportunities to kayak near Sete, explore Collioure and visit the historic citadel of Carcassonne. La Dolce Vita in Italy & France offers a 3-night experience, sailing past coastal villages, exploring Corsican markets and enjoying Tuscan wines. Belgium: A Sweet Getaway features Bruges’ canal network and authentic Belgian chocolates during its 3-night journey.

For those looking for a slightly longer experience, the 4-night St. Malo Getaway starts with a sail through London’s Tower Bridge before heading to France’s northern coastline and Mont St. Michel.

Of note: Book your clients by Aug. 31, 2025, and you can access special pricing, including up to $200 in onboard credit per stateroom and an All-In package valued at $99 per person daily, covering select alcohol, gratuities, and Wi-Fi—this represents a nearly $1,400 value for two on a week-long cruise. Early bookers also receive priority access to premium suites. Additional savings of 5 percent are available with booking code PIF when payment is made in full at the time of booking.

Windstar plans to expand these shorter European sailings in 2027, with further details to be announced when the new Europe deployment schedule is released in September 2025.
