mob-framed wedding gala
Your clients might not be getting “married to the mob,” but they’ll certainly be hanging with the mob, sort of, if they opt for The Mob Museum’s new Sleeping with the Mob overnight wedding package. This first-ever sleepover at The Mob Museum begins with a wedding ceremony in the museum’s historic courthouse at 8 p.m., followed by appetizers and cocktails, and wraps up at 9 a.m. the next day with continental breakfast. It’s what happens in-between that’s the most fun, though: a courtroom screening of “Casino,” a midnight Museum Scavenger Hunt, a courtroom slumber party for up to 50 guests and a lineup photo. Couples can even opt for a very special officiant: the former mayor of Las Vegas, Oscar B. Goodman, who made a name for himself serving as legal counsel for infamous mobsters. Price is $300 pp with a 20-person minimum. themobmuseum.org

vegas-style brasserie

Michael Mina, chef extraordinaire, has just opened BARDOT Brasserie at ARIA Resort & Casino. Situated in the courtyard overlooking ARIA’s second-floor promenade, the locale offers a French-inspired storefront and high windows, as well as intimate seating outside of the restaurant for a typically French people-watching experience. The menu, which pays homage to classic French cuisine, includes everything from onion soup to a duck a l’orange dish, as well as seafood items, steak frites, and desserts that even low-carb fanatics will pounce on. There are more than 80 international, hard-to-find beers, traditional spirits, and an extensive wine collection on hand as well. aria.com
sun salutations in vegas
Vegas might be better known as a partying mecca, but not all who flock to Vegas stay out till the wee hours. For those fitness-minded souls, the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino has launched Yoga in the Plaza on Saturday mornings. Taking place every Saturday Strip-side at 8 a.m., the hour-long class is ideal for all skills levels, and if you book your clients at the Monte Carlo hotel, then the class is complimentary. montecarlo.com
nightclub hounds
Those clients who are headed to Vegas to take in the destination’s ridiculously long list of “nightclubs on steroids” are going to want the 4-1-1 on the revamp of the 26,000-sq.-ft. LAX Nightclub, located at Luxor. 1) A larger dance floor; 2) State-of-the-art lighting and sound systems; and 3) Enhanced VIP service and bottle selections…. And let’s not leave out the completely new LAX Lounge, an intimate space with a full bar and DJ booth where guests can sip a cocktail before slipping into the nightclub. Tell clients who embrace music from the ‘80s, ‘90s and 2000s to head to LAX Nightclub on Thursdays for #TBT (Throwback Thursdays). luxor.com
a shower of stars
Stars were sprinkled throughout Vegas when ARIA Sky Suites and SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand received Forbes’ 2015 Five-Star Award. So what’s all the fuss about? At the ARIA Sky Suites, clients can say they’ve truly arrived when they enter the up-to-7,000 sq. ft. suites—including those Sky Villas (this is what we call living!)—and indulge in amenities that range from Hermes bath essentials to an in-suite sauna. Yeah, baby! Over in the SKYLOFTS, which are perched atop the MGM Grand, the 1,400-sq.-ft., 1-bedroom LOFT—or if your clients have deeper pockets than most of us, you can recommend the 6,000-sq.-ft., 3-bedroom LOFT—there are Bulgari bath amenities, a personal concierge, and a spa butler, among an array of other offerings. aria.com/hotel/sky-suites or skyloftsmgmgrand.com

sinful or saintly—you choose
Vdara Hotel & Spa has mixed it up a bit with the introduction of its VICE VERSA Patio & Lounge, which offers dual options suited to each guest’s preferences. At VICE it’s all about the dark side with “Sinful Small Plates” and “Sinful Sips,” while at VERSA, they keep it light with “Refreshing Light Bites” and “Freshly Twisted Cocktails.” vdara.com

light up the sky
Swarovski has debuted a boutique and crystal installation at the newly opened, 120-tenant Grand Bazaar Shops at Bally’s Las Vegas. Towering above the Swarovski pavilion, a glittering 14-ft.-diameter, custom-designed crystal-and-LED-light Swarovski Starburst emits 911 “rays” capped by custom-cut crystal spheres. Each night at midnight, travelers can “ooh” and “aah” during the Swarovski Midnight Celebration, a 3-minute light-and-sound show designed to “mark the dawn of a new day.” The boutique, in keeping with the interactive style of the Grand Bazaar Shops, also features Swarovski’s first-ever “bartering window,” allowing passersby to negotiate the price they ultimately pay for select items. Among the items featured in the barter window are only-in-Vegas creations such as crystallized Beats Headphones in white, black and blue; a Martin custom-designed crystal classic acoustic guitar; a Gibson Les Paul electric guitar and crystallized white, black and pink skulls. caesars.com/ballys-las-vegas
