citizenM — South Beach-style
“Following our warm welcome for citizenM Miami Brickell and Miami Worldcenter, we are excited to grow citizenM’s footprint in the city and become part of the iconic South Beach neighborhood,” said Robin Chadha, Chief Brand Officer, in a press statement. “As a cultural hotspot, the busy streets of South Beach are bursting with the best fine-dining experiences, prime shopping, bustling nightlife and public art. With our curated selection of artwork, rooftop pool and prime location, citizenM Miami South Beach will offer mobile citizens a great base to experience this incredible city.”
All 168 guestrooms have king-size beds, luxury bedding and widescreen TVs with streaming services. The room ambiance is fully controlled by an in-room iPad using the citizenM app, which allows guests to control the blinds, room temperature, TV and lighting.
Guests at citizenM Miami South Beach will enjoy amenities such as The Living Room, a workspace for hotel guests; collectionM, a retail space selling travel essentials, souvenirs, gifts and books; societyM, the hotel’s two meeting rooms; and canteenM, a dining area with 24/7, grab-and-go food and drinks. The hotel also offers a membership program, mycitizenM+, allowing members access to perks such as 15 percent off accommodations, free room upgrades, early access to discounts and members-only events.
To reflect the vibrant South Beach community, citizenM commissioned eight original art pieces from various artists. citizenM has worked with over 100 artists to create more than 300 commissions for their hotel portfolio. Committed to sustainability, citizenM Miami South Beach is pursuing LEED Gold certification. The hotel incorporates energy efficiency, water conservation and waste reduction. This aligns with citizenM’s broader goal of green building certifications for all its hotels.
