After becoming the first ship to welcome guests back on board, after MSC Cruises resumed operations, MSC Grandiosa has completed a fifth cruise in the Mediterranean.
The ship returned to service while implementing MSC Cruises’ comprehensive health and safety protocols. The new measures include universal testing for all guests before embarkation; rigorous health screening of crew before they commence their contract as well as ongoing health monitoring on board; protected ashore visits following the same high standards ashore as on board as well other measures such as enhanced sanitation of the ship, social distancing and use of face masks in public areas; best practices of personal hygiene and more.
For further information to assist guests and prospective guests understand what to expect, MSC Cruises has made a video available explaining the new measures which can be viewed here.
The next ship to restart will be MSC Magnifica on Oct. 19, with an enriched and extended itinerary in both the West and East Mediterranean.
