Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Air France announced the official launch of a new nonstop route connecting Central Florida to Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), which commenced on May 21.
This service marks Air France’s return to MCO after a 13-year hiatus, offering seamless travel experiences for both Central Floridians and international visitors.
The launch of this new route aligns with a notable uptick in transatlantic travel demand. According to Allianz Partners USA, summer 2025 is witnessing a 10 percent increase in U.S. travel to Europe compared to the previous year, with Paris remaining one of the top destinations for American travelers.
From Paris to Orlando, with Love
The route operates four times weekly—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays—utilizing the Airbus A350-900, Air France’s flagship aircraft. Passengers can enjoy a travel experience across three cabins: Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
“We’re thrilled to officially launch this new nonstop service, further deepening the ties between Florida and France,” said Boaz Hulsman, Vice President of Commercial, North America at Air France-KLM, in a media statement. “Travelers departing from Orlando can now enjoy a smooth, direct connection to Paris and onward to our global network—all with the signature French elegance and award-winning service that define the Air France experience.”
Lance Lyttle, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA), also added in a media release, “The return of Air France to Orlando International Airport marks an exciting milestone in our mission to expand Orlando’s role as a true global gateway. Connecting Central Florida directly to Paris opens new possibilities for our residents to explore the world and invites more visitors from across the globe to experience everything our region has to offer.”
The new connection provides access to Air France’s expansive global network, encompassing over 170 destinations. Travelers can also benefit from convenient options through SkyTeam Alliance partners such as Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico.
Orlando is now Air France’s 18th U.S. destination, joining a network that spans from New York to Seattle.
