2019 Opening Set for Costa Rica’s Santarena Hotel

Santarena Hotel
Costa Rica's Santarena Hotel offers 45 guestrooms, including three suites.

Costa Rica’s Guanacaste Coast will welcome a new addition to its hotel landscape with the 2019 opening of Santarena Hotel.

Set to make its debut in February, the Santarena Hotel features 45 guestrooms, including three suites with king size beds, sustainable wood floors, and spacious bathrooms equipped with a seasonal array of locally sourced amenities. Most accommodations also feature private balconies offering views of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. When it comes to meal time, the Santarena Hotel offers several options in addition to room service and a grab-and-go, all-day bakery. Breakfast and lunch are offered in The Atrium, a relatively casual indoor-outdoor space just off the lobby, while light bites and beverages ranging from detox smoothies to cocktails are available at the Lobby Bar. At night, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Ponciana, offers a more sophisticated atmosphere for dinner.

Located in the car-free community of Las Catalinas, a stay at the Santarena Hotel will also offer travelers easy access to a wide range of outdoor activities including an extensive trail system with over 24 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, plus water activities such as stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving. Also available are a variety of day trips and excursions via helicopter to some of Costa Rica’s most popular sites.

Nightly rates start at $425 dbl. For more information, visit santarenahotel.com, and to get details on how you can visit Costa Rica on an all-inclusive FAM by click, here. For information on the new Planet Hollywood property also opening in Costa Rica, click here.
