The maiden voyages of the new Queen Anne will be part of the Cunard cruise schedule for 2023-24.
The luxury cruise line unveiled more than 110 new international voyages this week. All will take place between Oct. 23, 2023 and May 14, 2024.
Cumulatively, the Queen Anne, Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth will call at 126 ports in 51 countries.
“Guests will be able to choose itineraries across four magnificent ships in the fleet for the first time since 1999,” said Matt Gleaves, Cunard’s vice president of commercial in North America said in a press release. “Each ship offers a unique experience with distinct itineraries: Queen Anne will be based out of Southampton, Queen Elizabeth out of Australia and Japan, and Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2 will both sail world voyages.”
Queen Anne’s First Destination is Lisbon
The maiden season of the Queen Anne on the Cunard cruise schedule will include more than 32 port calls. All sailings will depart from Southampton, England. The first Queen Anne cruise will depart for Lisbon, Portugal, with future sailings to the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Northern Europe. The Queen Anne’s schedule will include an eastbound transatlantic crossing.
Other notable sailings on the Cunard cruise schedule include the Queen Victoria’s 107-night World Voyage, which will depart Southampton for a circumnavigation of the globe in 2024. The Queen Mary 2’s 108-night World Voyage will begin with a crossing from New York to Southampton. The cruise will then proceed to the Mediterranean, Asia via the Suez Canal, Australia, and South Africa before returning to Europe.
The Queen Elizabeth will spend a chunk of the coming Cunard cruise season based in Australia. Itineraries from Sydney and Melbourne will include Queensland, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
Bookings for the 2023 and 2024 Cunard cruise sailings on the Queen Anne open May 17. Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth bookings will open May 24.
