Four Mouthwatering Meals for National Burger Month

May is National Burger Month, so there’s no better time to check out the restaurants around the world that are putting a spin on this classic dish. From Dubai to Buenos Aires, these are some of the mouthwatering burgers your clients can sink their teeth into in honor of National Burger Month.

4. The K-Pop Burger

At Dubai’s Atlantis, The Palm, gests craving a burger with all the fixings can head to the onsite restaurant The Burger Joint, where they can choose a dish from The Classics or The Rockstars. Classic burgers include The Brunch and Mighty Green burgers, while a particularly noteworthy Rockstar option is the K-Pop Burger. This burger, seen above on the right, is made from spicy Korean fried chicken, kimchee, coriander, rich cheddar cheese and sweet chili sauce.

3. Big Boy Pants

While the Hilton Orlando’s onsite restaurant, David’s Burgers & Bourbon, offers a wide variety of over-the-top burgers, one of the largest dishes on the menu is appropriately named Big Boy Pants. This monster of a burger is made with brisket topped with smoked bacon, cheese curd, bonded onions, lettuce and David’s special jalapeno yum yum sauce.

2. The Impossible Blend Burger

Decreasing meat consumption is often cited as a method to combat combat climate change, and The Impossible Blend Burger takes this challenge to heart with a patty that is made of 30 percent mushrooms and 70 percent beef. Featured at Hilton properties in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Lima, and Mexico City, The Impossible Burger not only helps reduce CO2 emissions by 29 percent in comparison to a regular beef patty, but it also passed several blind tests for taste and texture. This blended patty is used in several burger recipes at these Hilton properties including the Austin Blues, the Steak House, Sunrise, Fajita, and New York burgers, plus the Patty Melt shown above.

1. Power Play Burger

Named Best Burger in New York State in 2012, 2013, and 2018 by The New York Beef Council, the Power Play Burger, found at Ale ‘n’ Angus Pub,  is an 8 oz. angus burger topped with slow-cooked prime rib, American cheese, lettuce and tomato on a grilled Kaiser roll. The burger was named after the Syracuse Crunch hockey team after owner Randy Beach worked with the players, coaches, fans and team owner Howard Dolgon to create the unique entree. While travelers are in New York drooling over this mouthwatering burger, they can stay at the historical Hotel Skyler Syracuse. For travelers who would also like to check out the Big Apple while they’re in New York, Manhattan’s The Chatwal, New York currently has a summer promotion offering a complimentary third night of accommodations.
