Lindblad Expeditions will send a lucky travel advisor on a Wild Galapagos Escape aboard the new National Geographic Islander II to celebrate Travel Advisor Appreciation Month.
Travel advisors will receive an entry into a drawing to win one of three prizes for each new Lindblad Expeditions booking confirmed during the month of May.
The grand prize is a trip for two to Galapagos aboard the new all-suite National Geographic Islander II.
Accommodations will be in a category SU suite. Departure date will be based upon availability and subject to holiday and other blackouts. The award does not include international or charter air flights.
The first prize winner will receive a $500 gift card, and the second prize winner will receive a $250 gift card.
Every bookings on a Lindblad Expeditions voyage will earn one entry into the contest. Advisors will also receive a bonus entry for registering for Expedition 360°, Lindblad’s online Travel Advisor training.
New ship due to start sailing in August
Lindblad Expedition’s National Geographic Islander II will launch in the Galápagos in August 2022 and sail year-round in the islands. The ship has just 26 suites, accommodates 48 guests, and has a a 1:1 guest-to-crew ratio. Suites have large windows, king or twin convertible beds, sofas, chairs, desks, and marble baths. The four Islander Suites have separate living rooms and bathrooms with both tubs and rain showers.
The Islander II features a Science Hub for guests, and two suites reserved for Galápagos community members, researchers, educators, and storytellers. The ship also carries a fleet of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, a glass-bottom Zodiac and Mark V Zodiac motorboats.
Lindblad Expeditions also recently launched a new ice-capable polar exploration ship, the National Geographic Resolution.
