The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is upping the ante on helping your clients make family memories with its cool new—and upgraded—experiences. Hot on the heels of its multi-million-dollar guestroom and lobby renovation, the hotel is taking the Hawaii experience to the next level for the young and old.
If you’ve ever visited the property before, you probably enjoyed the nightly luau. Now the Drums of the Pacific Luau (yep, it’s been around for over 40 years!) also includes a lei demonstration, a signature drum number and new costumes with contemporary Hawaiian designs. In addition, there’s a 3-course dinner, an open bar with new craft cocktails and Polynesian crafts made by local skilled artisans.
The tweens and teens are gonna love the Social Media Mermaid fun in the sun: it’s basically a poolside selfie class taken with their own rented mermaid tail! The class includes swimming techniques with the tail plus tips on creating boomerangs, reels and TikToks.
Maui is known for its amazing night skies, so the Hyatt has put together an Astrophotography Workshop. They’ll climb to the top of the Lahaina Tower on Monday nights for a chat with NASA astronomer Eddie Mahoney to learn about the topic and combine their cameras with a brand-new Celestron Deluxe HD telescope so they can take jaw-dropping pictures of the night sky.
The hotel’s Marine Life Talks program has the resort’s resident Wildlife Team leading 20-minute Marine Life Talks to teach your clients about the life under the sea. Mondays are dedicated to the Amazing Airbreathers, Wednesdays are for the Totally Jawsome creatures and Fridays are for Colorful Fish and Spineless Wonders.
Last but not least, your clients will enjoy staying in shape every morning at the Family Fun Fitness Classes that include something for everyone, including a Family Fun Yoga program.
