Rental Escapes Picks its Top 10 Villas for the Winter Holidays

With the summer season in full swing and the winter holidays just around the corner, Rental Escapes has released its pick of the top 10 luxury villas to rent this December from its 5,000-strong stable of full-service properties in 70 countries. 

“As the holidays are notably the busiest two weeks of the year, we recommend travelers book now for the December season,” said Willie Fernandez, chief marketing officer of Rental Escapes, in a press statement. “This year in particular we have seen a 30% increase in bookings for the holiday season in the first five months of the year when compared to 2019 and 2021. Some destinations have even been completely booked since the first 90 days of 2022.”

1. Porters Villa: Porters, Barbados

This three-bedroom, three-bath former carriage house can accommodate up to six guests. It is located on the 23-acre Porters Great House estate in St. James on the west coast of Barbados. The property, which is a few minutes walk from the beach, features a master suite and two smaller bedrooms—all en-suite, plus a living room, dining room and modern kitchen. Guests are free to explore the estate’s grounds and have use of the estate pool and gym. Prices range from $750 to $1,500 per night.

Chalet Royal, which can house up to 18 guests, comes with its very own wellness center complete with an indoor pool and a hammam—a perfect tonic after a day exploring the French Alps. This eight-bedroom, eight bath party pad features a game room with foosball tables, dart boards and arcade-style games, a cinema, and private nightclub. Prices range from €20,089 to €28,929 per night.

This stylish beachfront Mexican villa formed from three interconnected buildings can accommodate 20 guests in its 10 en-suite bedrooms. The multi-story property has a gym, a sauna, Turkish bath, massage parlor and its very own snow room, yes snow room, that is kept at -10 degrees celsius. From November to April guests can watch blue humpback whales from the comfort of the infinity pool as they make their way from Alaska back home to Mexico’s warm waters. If family ski holidays are your clients’ thing, this modern ski chalet might just be the ticket. It is set on a green Swift Bear ski run so kids and beginners can enjoy green and blue runs around the house while seasoned skiers can use the nearby Cascade chairlift to access more varied terrain. Or guests can opt to drive 5 minutes to après-ski at Big Sky Mountain Village. Up to 12 people can sleep at this five bedroom, five bathroom chalet that boasts two kitchens and living spaces and stunning views of Lone Peak. Prices range from $824 to $6,838 per night.

Location, location, location is the buzzword for this three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath timber property situated just a few blocks from the center of Telluride. After a hard day spent hiking or skiing, guests can return to this property to relax before heading out to explore the town. Prices range from $1,111 to $3,686 per night.

If your clients are looking for a property just a stone’s throw from Disney World that can accommodate the whole family, look no further.
