Three Waters Resort & Marina, a Tribute Portfolio Resort will make its debut this fall on Islamorada in the Florida Keys. A merger of two classic Keys properties—the Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina and Pelican Cove Resort & Marina—hopes to please oldtimers and newcomers alike.

Island-inspired guestrooms and suites at Three Waters.

Operated by the Islamorada Resort Collection, Three Waters Resort & Marina spans 15 acres of oceanfront property and will feature 214 chic, island-inspired guest rooms, nine distinct new dining concepts, and a wide variety of authentic and upscale experiences, including The Cove, an adult-centric, resort-within-a-resort, boasting bright, island-inspired guestrooms and suites with only king beds, a tranquil private beach lagoon, and the resort’s Wave Motion Studio. The remaining guest rooms and cottages of Three Waters Resort & Marina will be the epicenter of the resort, with a family-friendly, Florida Keys-inspired aesthetic.

Culinary Concepts

The new resort will introduce nine culinary concepts, making Three Waters Resort & Marina a standout gastronomical destination with culinary experiences never before offered in Islamorada. Highlights include a signature restaurant (name TBA), featuring central live-fire cooking on an open hearth; the oceanfront Mercado Morada, reflecting Central American American and street food culture complete with food truck windows; and the indoor-outdoor Islamorada Pizza Co., serving up signature pizza pies, fresh salads, beer, wine and frosé (frozen rosé).

The oceanfront Mercado Morada features Central American cuisine.

In the mood for something sweet? The resort’s Lucky Twist soft-serve is steps away from the beach, or if you prefer, bicycle service will deliver your treat pool- or beachside. Several other bars and an onsite Starbucks will take care of everyone’s beverage needs.

Meanwhile, the resort’s famed Tiki Bar—which started life in 1969 as the The Holiday Isle Tiki Bar—will sport a totally refreshed look with mid-century and tropical touches.

Getting With the Program

Named for the three bodies of water surrounding the Florida Keys—the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean—and located in the “Sport Fishing Capital of the World,” Three Waters will have guests checking in and casting out upon arrival. New water-inspired experiences launching in 2024 will have a strong focus on education. With the help of seasoned Florida Keys captains and fisherman, guests will learn the best practices for fly casting, boating 101, fishing tips, fileting fish, lobstering, and more.

The Marina at Three Waters Resort boasts the deepest channel in the Upper Keys and will offer a full fleet of experienced offshore and backcountry fishing captains. For a seamless boating experience, the marina also will feature a new boat valet service.

An all-new water taxi, Rum Runner, will be available to transport guests between resorts within the Islamorada Resort Collection, while the onsite Miami Seaplane will offer seaplane service from Miami as well as charters to Key West and around Islamorada.

Onsite watersports and dive outfitters will have guests snorkeling and diving—or learning how to do both—sailing on sunset cruises, sandbar outings, spearfishing and more. In addition, wellness activities include sunrise and full moon yoga, Reiki and sound bowl meditations, and new swimming lanes.

Three Waters Resort & Marina is part of Tribute Portfolio, the growing collection of characterful, independent hotels from Marriott Bonvoy, and is the brand’s first location in the Florida Keys.
