Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced some new experiences and expanded venues for its upcoming sister ships, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna. These two vessels are the first in NCL’s Prima Plus Class, launching in April 2025 and 2026. Travelers onboard will enjoy a range of state-of-the-art features designed to enhance every aspect of their cruise experience.
Immersive and Interactive Experiences for All Ages
NCL’s new Aqua and Luna Game Zone offers an evolved version of the Galaxy Pavilion, delivering a mix of virtual reality games and classic arcade fun. Guests can try out experiences like Space Racing and Beat Hero, as well as retro games including Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.
The ships will also feature the Bull’s Eye Bar, a revamped dart game experience. With a full-service bar and six different interactive games for all skill levels, guests can enjoy this complimentary entertainment space while sipping on handcrafted cocktails. Additionally, Tee Time, the Prima Class’s “Wonders of the World” mini-golf course, will return, now spanning two decks and featuring 12 interactive holes. The popular Pickleball Court will also have a dedicated space, separate from other sports facilities.
Enhanced Spa and Fitness Offerings
Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna feature a redesigned Mandara Spa and Salon. Highlights include a Clay Sauna, designed for detoxifying and exfoliating, thalassotherapy loungers to relieve muscle tension and IV Drip Therapy for energy and immunity boosts. The Thermal Suite now includes double the heated loungers of previous vessels. Returning favorites include a charcoal sauna, ice room, salt room and flotation salt pool.
The Pulse Fitness Center has also been updated with new decor, advanced workout equipment and a dedicated spin studio. Guests can take part in workout classes, such as yoga, Pilates and cycling.
New Itineraries to the Caribbean
In April 2025, Norwegian Aqua will debut with 7-day Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, Florida, visiting destinations like Puerto Plata, Tortola and St. Thomas, as well as NCL’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay. Following the Caribbean season, the ship will offer voyages to Bermuda from New York City before heading to the Eastern Caribbean from Miami.
In April 2026, Norwegian Luna will begin its Caribbean season from Miami, sailing to destinations such as Roatan Island, Costa Maya and Harvest Caye. This vessel will alternate between Western and Eastern Caribbean itineraries.
