Sandals debuted it’s first Over-the-Water Villas at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay earlier this month. In addition, Sandals announced it’s plans for the development of additional Over-the-Water Suites at new locations throughout the Caribbean. The suites will be unveiled at select Luxury Included resorts throughout 2017 and 2018, including an additional 12 Over-the-Water Bungalows at Sandals Royal Caribbean set to open March 2017.
In addition, Sandals Resorts also announced the re-launch of Sandals South Coast, formerly known as Sandals Whitehouse European Village & Spa. The totally reimagined Luxury Included resort will include an expansion of the brand’s new over-the-water concept with the addition of 12 Over-the-Water Bungalows accessible via a heart-shaped pier, plus Sandals’ first over-the-water bar, Latitudes, where guests can enjoy cocktails in hammocks suspended above the Caribbean Sea, and a floating, ocean-based swamp bar called Bar-Tender. In addition, the property will feature an over-the-water wedding chapel with 360-degree water views and a glass floor aisle; couples will have the option to make their entrance via boat.
