If you’re going to walk in anyone’s footsteps, Coco Chanel’s are probably high on the list. Luxury travel company Red Savannah agrees and is launching their new series—In The Footsteps Of…—by paying homage to the svelte creator, whose Chanel No. 5 celebrates its 102nd anniversary this year.

‘Walking’ With Coco Chanel

According to the company, by booking this tour, you will “follow in the footsteps of Gabrielle’s remarkable transition from orphan to seamstress and milliner to couturier.” The trip begins in Normandy, where Coco’s iconic Breton jersey fabric was conceived. It naturally transitions to Paris, a visit to her first boutique at No. 31 Rue Cambon, and a stay just steps from that iconic address. Clients will continue south to the French Riviera, where they can work on their tan, then Grasse, the country’s fragrance capital.

Highlights of In The Footsteps Of Coco Chanel include the visit to the location of some of the designer’s hottest runway shows and the chateau where she spent her summers; time in the south of France and Deauville, where they’ll attend a polo match or horse races at the racecourse; the stay at the Rue Cambon; take tea at Chanel’s favorite cafe; and much more.
