Cunard is elevating its onboard experience in 2026, rolling out its most extensive entertainment lineup to date across every Transatlantic Crossing aboard Queen Mary 2.
The enhanced programming coincides with Cunard’s partnership with the Olivier Awards, bringing West End-caliber performances and cultural events to sailings between New York and Southampton.
From the West End to the Atlantic
At the center of the lineup is the “London Theatre at Sea” event voyage, departing May 22. The sailing will feature live performances, musical theater sing-alongs and behind-the-scenes talks.
Cunard reunites with Olivier and Tony Award-winning producer David Pugh for Royal Shakespeare Company’s new production of “The Constant Wife,” making its debut at sea on May 29 during its UK tour.
Music programming is also a key component. On Sept. 5, conductor Anthony Inglis will lead the UK’s National Symphony Orchestra in two onboard concerts, complemented by guest talks and interactive choir sessions.
Later in the year, Cunard will mark a milestone with its 450th Transatlantic Crossing on Nov. 10, featuring an immersive theatrical experience that highlights the brand’s heritage. The line’s Literature Festival at Sea, curated with The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, will follow on Nov. 28, offering author talks, Q&As and book signings.
Across select sailings, Cunard will also introduce Entertainment Residencies spanning musicals, opera, comedy and immersive theater. Fleetwide, more than 680 speakers are expected to participate in 2026 programming.
