Trafalgar and Insight Vacations are adding new itineraries in the western U.S. for their luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van tours.
Trafalgar’s Small Group Active Tours are often built around visits to U.S. national parks. Itineraries include Desert National Parks of California; Yellowstone, The Tetons and Glacier National Park; and Yosemite and Lassen Volcanic National Park Discovery.
“Each itinerary offers guests the opportunity for in-depth exploration of the national parks to discover their unique histories and landscapes with the chance for a more active adventure,” according to a Trafalgar press release.
Other Sprinter van tours from Trafalgar include the California Coast Food and Wine Trail and Arizona Discovery and the Grand Canyon. The latter includes stops in Sedona, Scottsdale and the Grand Canyon.
Insight Vacations Adds California and Utah Trips
Insight Vacations’ limited-edition Sprinter van tours include two new itineraries in Southern California: California’s Coastal Vistas and Vineyards explores the Golden State from Santa Monica, to Ventura and Santa Barbara. The Southern California and Joshua Tree National Park tour includes a visit to the desert park and the cities of Palm Springs and San Diego. Insight’s new Iconic National Parks of Utah journey visits Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and Capital Reef National Park.
“There has been tremendous interest in small group tours. We knew this was going to be a successful program when we started seeing more interest in in-depth domestic travel experiences,” said Melissa DaSilva, president of TTC Tour Brands, North America, in a press release. “With a small group capacity of no more than 17 guests, travelers will experience luxurious journeys with stays in boutique hotels and explore areas of California, Arizona, Utah and the U.S. National Parks that are not accessible to larger groups.”
The Sprinter van tours are led by an onboard travel director and driver. Each Mercedes-Benz van features spacious seating, overhead luggage storage, power outlets and USB ports, a TV monitor, and a filtered-water dispenser.
