Belize Tourism Board has launched a virtual postcard campaign titled “Dear Belize” that will run through the month of May.
The competition, which is open to travel advisors, invites future travelers to submit a 60-second video about how they’re dreaming of a trip to Belize. The winner will receive a free trip for two to the destination, including roundtrip airfare, and a minimum of seven nights / eight days at a luxury resort.
Belize, located in both Central America and the Caribbean, boasts lush rainforests, secluded waterfalls, dotted islets and Mayan ruins. It is home to the largest Barrier Reef in the Northern Hemisphere, and offers ample eco-activities and cultural offerings, as well as lodgings that range from luxury private-island resorts to jungle retreats.
For five chances to win the trip for two to Belize, entrants must upload a 60-second video beginning with “Dear Belize…” and telling why they miss Belize or why they have always wanted to go. Or for one chance to win, entrants can simply fill out the online form without attaching a video.
