Travelers can now fly direct from Los Angeles to Abu Dhabi with the launch of Etihad Airways’ new route.
Daily nonstop flights will begin June 1, 2014, making Los Angeles the fourth destination in the U.S.—along with Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C.—to offer direct flights to Abu Dhabi on Etihad Airways. Flights will leave daily from Abu Dhabi at 8:45 a.m. arriving in Los Angeles at 2:15 p.m. on the same day, while flights departing Los Angeles will leave at 4:15 p.m. and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 7:35 p.m. the next day.
With the new flight, Etihad will launch a 3-cabin Boeing 777-200LR, which can hold 237 passengers in eight Diamond First Class suites; 40 Pearl Business Class flatbed seats; and 189 Coral Economy Class seats.
