One of Mexico’s top hotels, Rosewood Puebla, is now Azul Talavera Hotel, an independent property.

The hotel opened in 2017 and the company says there be no downtime for the transition and its operation will remain under the same team of professionals.

“A new stage begins today for this historic property under the name Azul Talavera Hotel. We would like to thank each and every one of our collaborators for their support in making this a successful transition, as well as the government authorities, suppliers and clients. Our aim will be to provide lodging experiences with the highest level of service and quality. Starting today, we are ready to welcome guests and visitors, and to show them the best of Puebla,” said Manuel Leal, managing director, Azul Talavera Hotel, in a statement.

The luxury hotel is set in the heart of the capital of Puebla, made up of three antique buildings of Barrio de San Francisco and framed by the Cirineo Chapel, the Lavaderos de Almoloya, and the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanos.

Seventy-eight Puebla-inspired guestrooms reflect the rich artistry of Mexico in every detail. Its restaurants, Pasquinel Bistrot, Cafe Azul Talavera, Bar Los Lavaderos and Rooftop Bar offer menus with local and international flavors. The hotel also features a pool with a panoramic view, a gym, and social spaces.
