Professional Development for New Agents

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has partnered with Avoya Travel to offer professional development opportunities for new agents. Under the new partnership, CLIA will serve at the preferred professional development and introductory travel education provider for new-to-travel professionals with the opening of an Independent Agency in the Avoya Travel Network.

This new partnership will allow new-to-travel professionals, who are affiliating with the Avoya Network, to join CLIA with Avoya’s member rate and take a series of CLIA courses prior to affiliation. These courses in selling skills, customer service, cruising, geography, and more, are designed to give new-to-travel Avoya Network members the knowledge and foundation they need to achieve success with their independent agencies, and begin claiming more Avoya Live Leads sooner, plus book more vacations. (Avoya Life Leads sends new customers directly to independent agencies.)

In addition, as a Premier Agency Member of CLIA, Avoya provides all independent agencies in the Avoya Network access to individual agent memberships at a reduced rate, as well as exclusive, members-only professional development programs, bonus commissions, and travel perks, plus education sessions and other resources.
