Delta Vacations Appoints New President

Delta Vacations has appointed Delta’s Kama Winters as its new president, succeeding Jennie Ho who is transitioning into her new role at Delta Air Lines as v.p., in-flight field operations.

Winters, previously director of product retailing at Delta, will transition to her new role effective June 21. In her new role, Winters will be responsible for advancing Delta Vacations’ strategic position to deliver best-in-class vacation experiences, while sustaining employee satisfaction and strong financial and operational performance. She will focus on continued stabilization of the operation in the near term and establishing a long-term vision for the brand. 

Winters has been a partner to Delta since 2005 where she served as a client lead with long-standing agency partner, Digitas. She joined Delta in 2016 where she has held roles of increasing responsibility throughout Marketing and Digital Strategy, including CRM and Retail Performance Marketing, and most recently Product Merchandising and Content Strategy. She has also played an integral role in building the foundation of an audience and analytics strategy, powering a more personalized customer experience at every step of the travel journey.  

According to the release announcing her new position, “Kama’s proven ability to deliver creative solutions with a customer-first approach in addition to exceptional leadership skills will complement the Delta Vacations team and help carry forward the brand’s positive momentum in the marketplace.”

Winters holds a B.A. in Communications and a Master’s degree in Interactive Design & Technology from Florida State University.
