The adventure tour company has drawn from its personal knowledge and regional experience, having hosted and operated adventures throughout the West for the past 40 years. With careful vetting, founder and president Dan Austin and his Montana-based team have curated an exclusive group of all-inclusive guest ranches that are ideal for safety in the COVID-19 era.
Austin Adventures emphasizes that this vacation style is naturally distanced and embraces carefully planned and recently enacted COVID-19 mitigation protocols. All of the ranches are in wilderness-adjacent locations that are isolated and remote; there are opportunities to partake in a variety of outdoor recreational activities; as well as horseback riding experiences that are naturally social distanced. Guests prioritizing health and safety precautions may combine a ranch stay with a road trip to avoid flying.
