The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club has ensured its continued AAA Five-Diamond status by renovating 64 luxury beachfront guestrooms and suites overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The newly revamped accommodations are at Summer House and St. John’s House.

This latest investment follows the inauguration of the Ocean House and Peyton House accommodations in 2020. They are a modern, high-end take on this property’s historical design. Since opening its doors nearly a century ago, the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club has offered its guests and members refined beachfront experiences with world-class service and the southern hospitality typical of Florida’s northeast coast.

“The refreshed design and style of the Summer House and St. John’s House is equally a tribute to the rich history of the resort as well as a nod to its future,” said Michael Gordon, v.p. and general manager of Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, in a press statement. “We have identified the perfect ‘look’ for the next chapter of our iconic property—seaside heritage and elegance meet modern luxury and innovation. Both Houses exemplify our commitment to providing the finest experience for our guests, and we are excited to welcome both new and existing guests to experience this new vision.”

The resort sits on a 1.5-mile stretch of coastline in Northeast Florida, so each new room has either ample private terraces or ground-level patios with ocean views and direct paths to the beach. Renovations include luxurious custom furnishings and eco-friendly touches. Of note are the family-friendly connecting guest rooms and a new Hospitality Suite available for private rental.

AAA Five-Diamond Ponte Vedra Inn & Club has a total of 262 upscale guest rooms and suites and world-class amenities open year-round, including two championship golf courses, a 30,000 sq. ft. spa, The Racquet Club tennis facilities, an 8,000 sq. ft. fitness center with ocean views, the Surf Club, and much more.
