In anticipation of the early 2020 opening of the Ixtapan Spa Yoga Fitness Resort’s new 180-guestroom main building and spa, the property is inviting travel advisors on a FAM to indulge in a “wellness Ixtapan experience.”
Located 65 miles southwest of Mexico City, guests at this wellness-focused property can walk to Ixtapan de la Sal, known to its ancient inhabitants for volcanic thermal springs, today, the area is popular for its many wellness stores and services. The FAM includes hearth meals, and up to 17 organic skin, face and hair treatments, plus daily fitness activities including aqua offerings and yoga, plus hikes and walks. Also included are round trip transfers, 10 percent tips and 17 percent government taxes. The hotel offers several pools, a modern fitness center, two spas, tennis courts and optional excursions to colonial sites such as Taxco and Cuernavaca.
