Iberostar Hotels & Resorts launched iberostarpro.com—a new online booking engine for travel agents—and is celebrating by offering 15 percent commission on new bookings made now through Dec. 15, 2017.
The new website allows agents to search for real-time rates and room availability in more than 100 Iberostar properties in 17 countries. IberostarPro is available in seven languages and also stores company details, as well as past and new reservations, making it easier to modify reservations and make future bookings.
After the initial introductory period ending on Dec. 15, 2017, agents booking through IberostarPro will receive 10 percent commission. IberostarPro will also add StarAgents—a loyalty rewards program for travel agents only—to its platform. The program allows agents to automatically earn points toward free stays when booking clients without reentering booking information into a third-party site. To give agents a head start on earning points, they will receive 500 points upon registration.
