Have your clients prepare their masks, fins and more for Grenada’s Dive Conservation Festival, gearing up from May 29 through June 5, 2023. A celebration of the island nation’s conservation efforts on land and sea, this year marks a partnership and collaboration between Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA), Aquanauts Grenada and a slew of other conservation groups, including True Blue Bay Resorts, Blue Horizon Resort, Mount Cinnamon Resort, The Tower Estate and others, as well as several known climate activities. Experts from around the world are expected to participate, including government representatives, environmental advocacy organizations, scientists, researchers and the tourism industry.

Grenada has focused on marine conservation by creating protected areas for endangered species, coral gardening and restoration, regulating plastic waste and promoting sustainable fishing practices. The festival will help raise awareness of these efforts and provide global marine conservation leaders with a space to discuss the future of the oceans.
