Variety Cruises is offering FAM trips on select summer 2017 departures for its mega-yacht itineraries in Spain & Portugal, and Iceland.
Departures for the Spain & Portugal FAM are available from Lisbon on May 27; June 10 and 24; July 22; and Sept. 2 and16; and from Malaga on June 3 and 17; July 15 and 29; and Aug. 26; as well as Sept. 9 and 23. The Spain & Portugal itinerary visits a new port of call each day, including Granada with its architectural masterpieces such as the Alhambra Palace; Jerez de la Frontera, a city in southern Spain’s Andalucia region famous for its architecture, sherry and fine horses; and Ronda, the birthplace of bull fighting. Rates start at $220 per cabin (sgl or dbl) for travel agents and one companion.
Meanwhile, departures for the Iceland FAM are available from Reykjavik on June 10 and 24, and from Akureyri on June 17, July 29, and Aug. 26. Rates start at $400 per cabin (sgl or dbl) for travel agents and one companion. During the voyage, guests sail along the west coast of Iceland between Reykjavik and Akureyri, visiting lava fields and steaming mud pools, exploring the colorful port of Siglufjordur, Iceland’s northernmost city close to the Arctic Circle, and taking in the upbeat nightlife of the capital, Reykjavik. Port taxes apply for each program but travel agents will also receive a $100 pp onboard credit to use toward shore excursions.
