Two departure dates are available—July 30 or Nov. 8, 2025—sailing from Vilshofen to Budapest, with stops in some of Europe’s most storied cities.
From the imperial charm of Vienna and the cultural vibrancy of Budapest to the cobblestone streets of Bratislava, the Romantic Danube FAM reveals the grandeur of Old World Europe. Along the way, explore Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart, or the storybook town of Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic.
With views of hilltop fortresses, majestic abbeys and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, this itinerary is a dream for lovers of history, culture and classical music. Advisors will sail aboard the AmaSonata (July) or the AmaMora (November), both featuring twin balconies in categories BB and higher—a French balcony and a step-out balcony—offering exceptional views of the Danube’s scenic beauty.
Participating advisors must meet AmaWaterways’ current eligibility requirements. FAMTrips.travel will assist with confirming your travel advisor credentials and AmaWaterways portal registration, including help with completing the first module of Ama’s online training, if needed.
Advisors will also be asked to sign the updated AmaWaterways Code of Conduct prior to sailing.
