El Salvador, the smallest country in Central America and often called the “Little Giant,” is the highlight of this FAM with Sunny Land Tours. Travel professionals can experience El Salvador’s diverse landscapes, culture and heritage through a new 6-day Essence of El Salvador FAM.

With just two departures scheduled—Nov. 15–20, 2025, and Jan. 10–15, 2026—spaces are limited.

The itinerary highlights some of the country’s most iconic and emerging destinations. Advisors will explore the famed Ruta de las Flores, a string of coffee towns in the Apaneca hills known for artisan workshops, candlelit night markets and weekly food festivals. Stops include Nahuizalco, Salcoatitan, Juayua and Apaneca, each offering its own mix of history, handicrafts and culinary specialties.

Participants will also visit Suchitoto, a colonial gem once the capital of El Salvador, with cobblestone streets and views of Lake Suchitlan, before continuing to San Salvador for a tour of the city’s historic center and modern districts.

Nature takes center stage with a visit to the Lake and Volcano Complex, including Cerro Verde, Izalco and Santa Ana volcanoes. Additional highlights include Coatepeque Lake and the UNESCO-recognized Joya de Ceren archaeological site, known as the “Pompeii of the Americas.”
