Osiris Tours has announced details of its new 11-day Egypt Royal Family Adventure.

The tour is ideal for anyone seeking a “best of” experience that takes in all the must-see sites such as the Great Pyramids, Aswan Islands, the Red Sea and more.

Prices begin at $3,499 per person and include a private guide, personal driver, traditional Egyptian cuisine, all domestic travel, and other activities indicated on the final itinerary.

Highlights include a three-night river cruise down the Nile aboard the luxury Sonesta St. George; a day-trip around the Aswan Islands, home to the original “border town” of Elephantine Island, once part of a main trading route through Egypt; a horse or camel ride through the desert to watch the sunset with panoramic views of the Great Pyramids; snorkeling in the lush coral reefs of the Ras Mohammed National Park at the southern end of the Sinai Peninsula; and a private guided tour through the Egyptian Museum of Antiques, home to the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

Tourists will also get to explore three tombs belonging to powerful nobles of the New Kingdom in the Valley of the Kings; take a quad ride through the desert at sunset and have tea with a Bedouin family; and experience a guided day tour of Alexandria, the city founded by Alexander the Great around 331 B.C., here they will visit the Alexandria National Museum, Catacombs of Kom El Shugafa, and the Abu al-Abbas Mosque.

The itinerary can be tailored to travelers’ specific areas of interest and travel dates can also be customized.
