With many left wondering about the status of tourism in the Caribbean after hurricanes impacted the area, the Anguilla Tourist Board has launched a special landing page on its website to keep everyone up to date on how the island is recovering.
The landing page—irma.ivisitanguilla.com—is a one-stop shop for any pertinent information that could affect someone planning to visit. The user-friendly site includes up-to-date information on access to Anguilla via air and sea, ground transportation on the island, proposed reopening dates for hotels, villas, apartments, restaurants and attractions, plus information on the restoration of essential services such as electricity and telecommunications.
“We want to get the word out that Anguilla is open for business, and this site provides a wealth of information for those planning to visit Anguilla this winter,” said Donna Banks, Anguilla Tourist Board chairperson, in a press release. Several businesses are reopening as early as Thanksgiving.
