Norwegian Cruise Line has launched a new Freestyle booking engine for agents with new functionalities for reservations.

New features include interactive deck plans so agents can view all of the available staterooms. Agents are also able to select up to five staterooms and place them on hold for up to 30 minutes while finishing the booking. In addition, agents can do a side-by-side comparison of group and FIT rates, extend options, use coupons, enter check numbers, and schedule payments.

The new group booking engine, Freestyle Groups, also allows travel professionals to create and manage group reservations. Enhancements to the booking engine include customizing amenities, assigning or distributing tour conductor credits, and putting FIT staterooms into a group up to seven days before sailing.

“We’ve listened to travel agent feedback on our booking engine and have incorporated the comments and suggestions into these latest enhancements. With all of these new features, we are confident that partners will love how easy and flexible it is to book their clients on Norwegian,” says Andy Stuart, executive v.p. of global sales and passenger services, Norwegian Cruise Line.
