MLT University and Khiri Group have both undergone name changes this year, launching as Delta Vacations University and Yaana Ventures, respectively.
Beginning this year, MLT University will now be known as Delta Vacations University. After collaborative discussions with the company’s travel agency partners, Delta Vacations became aware that a majority of the company’s customers across the country recognize the brand more as Delta Vacations. “Based on this feedback, we determined that as we continue to successfully integrate our brand experience with Delta’s, moving forward with Delta Vacations University at this time make sense for us, our travel agency customers and our hotel and destination partners,” said Delta Vacations president John Caldwell in a press release.
MLT University is one of the longest-running educational events for travel agents in the country. This year’s Delta Vacations University is set for Sept. 17-18 at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta. For more information, visit deltavacations.com.
The Khiri Group has also rebranded itself. The group has been launched under the new name Yaana Ventures as announced by the company’s CEO Willem Niemeijer, who said that “Yaana Ventures, at its birth, comprises a dynamic mix of new and established travel brands.” Khiri Travel, the award-winning destination management company founded by Niemeijer, will remain unchanged in brand and focus, with Richard Brouwer serving as Khiri CEO.
