While the world celebrated its eighth annual Global Wellness Day on June 8, 2019, that doesn’t mean your clients have to wait until next year to treat themselves to a vacation that prioritizes their health and wellness. Here is just a sampling of hotels and resorts around the world with programs designed to nourish the mind, body, and soul.

4. The Biltmore Hotel

Located in the Coral Gables area of Miami, The Biltmore Hotel is a National Historic Landmark with close proximity to both Miami Beach and Downtown Miami. After a day of South Florida explorations, your clients can retreat to property for some rest and relaxation with the Benessere at the Biltmore wellness program. Derived from the Italian word meaning “well-being,” the program’s offerings are centered around the Mediterranean lifestyle.

The Biltmore Hotel’s spa and fitness center are fundamental to the Benessere initiative with treatments, rituals and classes specifically designed with health and wellness in mind. Offerings at the spa include the Mineral Wellness Ritual and acupuncture, in addition to its signature treatments such as Organic Seaweed Leaf Cocoons and Anti-Aging Skin Therapies. The hotel’s recently renovated fitness center also features more than 100 weekly exercise classes such as yoga, spinning and TRX, as well as a Historic Fitness Walk and a juice and smoothie bar.

To round out the full sensory experience, the Benessere program is also integrated into each of the hotel’s dining venues, which serve health-conscious menu choices infused with seasonal ingredients. Comprehensive programming through the Biltmore’s Culinary Academy also includes interactive cooking lessons with themes such as vegan, gluten-free, cancer-fighting foods, and fresh local market finds.

1. Bankside

Opened in late 2018 in the Southbank neighborhood of London, Bankside hotel gives guests a unique way to immerse themselves in this emerging artsy part of the city while also getting in a morning workout. With the StreetGym program, guests will embark on a 60-minute outdoor workout led by a veteran of the British military.
