Austin Adventures understands that children (and their parents) might be getting a little stir-crazy in their homes now since the schools have closed for a bit. In an effort to help alleviate that, and bring a little joy and positivity to the world, Austin Adventures will be hosting a series of virtual adventures for kids.

Inspire those little decision-makers with these virtual tours. Who knows, they might want to go visit in real life once things settle down and travel is open again.

These online adventures will be taught by Kasey Austin, who was recently promoted to president of Austin Adventures and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. “Usually, my main outlet for this passion is when I get to head out into the field to guide a few trips each summer in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks,” says Austin. “Now, I get to share my love for teaching through our newest virtual adventures!”

Austin and team have already received very positive feedback about their newest venture, and have been working around the clock to figure out the best, most interactive content and how to deliver it. They’re happy to report that their first virtual adventure, all about Yellowstone National Park, will take place this Thursday, March 26th, at 2:00 p.m. EDT. You can find more information on this event here.

These virtual adventures are designed for children ages 6-12, but everyone (including parents) is encouraged to join. The Yellowstone National Park Adventure is the first of many to come, with topics ranging from Simple Bike Maintenance 101 to a Virtual Zoo Tour. Lessons will last anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour and are tentatively planned for each Tuesday and Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Eastern. Each lesson will have interactive elements throughout, including Q&A’s and viewer polls.

Austin Adventures will be sending out webinar invites, as well as posting the schedule on its social media channels and its homepage. All virtual adventures will be recorded for future viewing and sharing so those who can’t attend the live version will still have the chance to enjoy these virtual adventures later.
