G Adventures returns to Egypt this month offering its full program with modified itineraries due to transportation issues in the country.

“We have an operational office in Cairo and team members on the ground who are monitoring the situation daily. We’re excited to be able to give our travelers the opportunity to travel safely, and our operational crew and CEOs (chief experience officers) the opportunity to get back to work, showing people the country they are passionate about,” says John Warner, managing director, G Adventures.

Since overnight trains are not running right now in Egypt, G Adventures has upgraded its transportation offerings using flights instead of trains, at no extra cost for travelers. G Adventures offers seven trips in total to Egypt, including two that combine Jordan and Egypt in the itinerary.

The 17-day Egypt and Jordan Adventure, for example, starts at $1,980 pp starting in Cairo and ending in Amman. On the tour, travelers will experience the Red Sea, take an overnight felucca trip with a support boat, visit bazaars, camp in a Bedouin tent, and experience Petra. Rates include 16 breakfast, two lunches and five dinners; 12 nights in a hotel, two nights in a sleeper train, one night desert camping and one night on a felucca; and the services of a “Chief Experience Officer.”
