With 2018 more than halfway gone, your clients may be looking to refresh their health goals for the year, and there’s no shortage of wellness-focused trips to help them do just that. For the yogis on your client list, suggest they spice up their yoga practice by ditching their local studios and in-home routines in exchange for yoga retreats in beautiful destinations around the world.

Yoga in the Jungle
Those looking to get away from it all for their yoga retreat experience can head to Soneva Kiri, a remote jungle resort on the Thai island of Koh Kood. This November, the resort will host a 7-night yoga retreat and a 28-night intensive yoga teacher training. The 7-night retreat at Soneva Kiri, which starts on Nov. 15, includes two hours of yoga and 40 minutes of meditation per day; two hours of spa treatments; and pre- and post-retreat wellness screenings. The 28-night package is comprised of 200 hours of certified yoga teacher training, including: practice (asanas, pranayama, meditation and cleanses); 50 hours of theory; 25 hours of assignments; and 25 hours of self study. A Yoga Alliance Certification can be earned for an extra charge of $100.

Both packages include shared return flight transfers between Bangkok and Soneva Kiri; shared accommodations in the resort’s larger villas, with each guest getting a private room with an ensuite bathroom; and daily breakfast and dinner with non-alcoholic beverages at the onsite restaurants. All guests will also have access to butler service, complimentary WiFi and use of the resort’s gym and tennis court.

The 7-night retreat is priced at $5,670 pp sgl and $8,670 pp dbl. The 28-night yoga teacher training is priced at $15,100 pp sgl and $21, 520 pp dbl. For more information, visit soneva.com.

The retreat incorporates restorative healing and therapeutic elements that guests can take home and apply to their daily lives. Each day, there will be two yoga classes led by international yoga teacher Erin Ward, and guests will also be able to indulge in an Ocean Combo Massage as part of the package. In addition, the retreat includes 5-night accommodations in a Deluxe Verandah Suite; three meals daily with non-alcoholic beverages; and two group excursions.
