 1. andBeyond Vira Vira

Luxury hotel brand andBeyond brought its signature style to its first property outside of Africa with the recent opening of andBeyond Vira Vira. Located in Chile’s Lake District, the property is comprised of 12 villas, six suites, and a 5-bedroom hacienda that integrate local furnishings like textured Chilean rugs, hand-woven tapestries, Mapuche artifacts, and restored antiques. The andBeyond Vira Vira also features a farm-to-table restaurant, a WILDchild program for the younger visitors, and an al fresco dining venue along the shores of the Liucura river. Adventure enthusiasts will also appreciate a visit to this luxury property as its location opens the doors for activities such as skiing or trekking the Villarrica Volcano, horseback riding, fly fishing, and scenic helicopter rides.

2. QT Perth

QT Perth, located in Perth’s Central Business District near Swan River, is the latest addition to the Sydney-based designer hotel brand QT Hotels & Resorts. Representing the brand’s first property on Australia’s West Coast, QT Perth opened in August 2018 with 184 guestrooms, a signature bar and grill restaurant, a rooftop bar, and a cafe, plus seven conference rooms. The property is also located steps from Murray Street Mall and the city’s main shopping district.

3. RuMa Hotel and Residences

The Urban Resort Concepts brand is developing its first property outside of China with plans to open The RuMa Hotel and Residences in Kuala Lumpur in late 2018. Located in the heart of the city’s Golden Triangle, The RuMa Hotel and Residences will feature 253 guestrooms and suites, each with handcrafted, artisanal furniture and views of Kuala Lumpur’s increasingly rising skyline, including the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. The property’s design blends luxury and understated designs with local cultural influences to give guests a sense of place. The RuMa Hotel and Residences will also include ATAS, a modern Malaysian eatery; an outdoor infinity pool and sundeck overlooking the skyline; the Urban Retreats SPA and more.
